Bridge

Also known as the Byrd Creek Bridge, is a historic stone arch bridge and dam built by the Civilian Conservation Corps between 1935 and 1940. It is the largest masonry structure ever built by the CCC in the United States.

We went on up to Rugby Tennessee after spending some time in Wartburg.

The bridge is immediately visible from the parking lot - in fact, you can park under it.

The road to the cabin feaures a newly built bridge.
