2008-04 Orlando Trip
This was a training trip. I was attending the WebSphere Portal Application Development class at a training facility on Sand Lake Road (near the intersection of Sand Lake and Orange Blossom Trail).
I stayed at the Florida Hotel - it is a hotel/convention center that is connected to the Florida Mall. The first night, I went to Downtown Disney and did some shopping. One night I did some driving around to the north and drove thru Clermont and up to Leesburg. The food options around the area did not impress me much. I ate at places like Boston Market and Beef O'Brady's. My final night in town, I went to the City Walk at Universal. There I found some really good shrimp at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co restaurant.
